Library Board of Trustees Meeting
Meeting Date: February 21, 2023
Those in attendance:

Absent:
Joan opened the meeting at 9:30 am.
Bob Olson had nothing to report from the town board.
The minutes for January were read and a motion was made by Greta and seconded by Pam to accept them as written.
Approved
Treasurer’s Report:
Greta distributed the treasurer’s report, she reported that her accounts balanced.
She is setting spreadsheets to keep track of income and expenses on her computer.
2023 Vouchers #11-17, were signed and given to the treasurer for payment.
A motion was made by Joyce to accept the January report and seconded by Sara.

Director’s Report:
Kawana distributed and went over her monthly report of patron attendance, expenses and
monies received from fines, faxes and donations.
She noted January’s usage was typical for winter months.
She had a volunteer that came twice to help in the library.
The town supervisor spoke to Kawana about the library applying for a grant to install a button door opener for handicap accessibility. Grants will be looked in to.
The Will Eisner Innovative Graphic Novel Grant has been submitted and now we wait to see if we are approved.
Kawana has finished the Annual Report and is ready to submit it.
A motion was made by Joyce and seconded by Sara to approve the Director’s report.

Old Business:
Dan Smith has agreed to do a series of talks in the summer months.
New Business:
Joan noted that mileage reimbursement is now 65.5 cents a mile for anyone traveling to SALS for meetings.
We will continue to have a representative to attend the town board meetings each month.
Meetings are held the third Thursday of the month at 6 pm. Sara will be attending in March and Joyce in April.
Next Meeting Date: March 20th at 9:30 am.
A motion to adjourn the meeting at 10 AM was made by Joan and seconded by Joyce.
